Secure Authenticated Free Email (SAFEmail™)

Below shows the main Mamomail mInbox in a shared view with the personal Inbox. The benefit of this dual view is that the user can see both the regular emails and the Mamomail encrypted and authenticated emails. Users with the Mamomail plug-in on their email clients and accounts can exchange SAFEmails easily and seamlessly.

User will know that all emails in the Mamomail mailboxes are sent encrypted and authenticated. Senders will know that the Mamomail system is responsible for the delivery and that their email message and contents will not be scanned nor end up in the spam folder. The Mamomail tags framework will instruct the identification, categorization and the special handling and delivery (e.g., sorting to the mfolder, special viewing or alerting, or any other handling instructions).

There are much value added services we can offer in such private system: the actual monthly financial statements from banks, utilities, etc. are sent encrypted and our personal financial program (e.g. Quicken) on our PC will automatically retrieve and extract the data and update itself, and be ready for our viewing.

The goal is to offer the routine and commonplace “security, privacy and certainty” of the postal mail, in email, and with the dual view, to make this use as seamless and intuitive as the personal inbox.

(Note: BTW, this dual view pre-dates the 2010 Gmail Priority Inbox. In my 2002 patent application, I talk about priority emails; split inbox or special views.)
