This tag can be defined as a series of unique characters, numbers and/or symbols in sequence that provides an identifier for domain-specific meta data including but not limited to subject matter, author, receiver, company, interest group, or other qualifier. At the recipient end point, the system applies a set of rules to match the tag-set present in the email and perform sorting and management based on the identified tags. Technically, this tag-set can be encapsulated in any form that is recognizable and distinguishes it from the body of the message. Therefore, the technical implementation includes but is not limited to discrete unique sentence or groups of words, XML, special characters (i.e. ‘~’, ‘!’, ‘**’). These may also have copyright or trademark mark. With inclusion of this code-set anywhere in the email message the system recognizes it as an appropriate and actionable tag-set, and perform the associated function based on the data within the code-set.
